Stepping up with tuition aid

Warwick Division #1 Kent County of the Ancient Order of Hibernians presented $1,000 checks to each of the city’s three parochial schools at a ceremony Wednesday at the Aspray Boat House in Pawtuxet. The schools are to use the money, raised with an annual golf tournament, to help those families struggling with tuition costs. Following the awards, the Hibernians and their guests were treated to a show of Irish step dancing performed by students from Damhsa Irish Dancing.
