Steven W. Collins, 57, of Lark Ave., Cranston, passed away December 28, 2011 at home. He was the cherished husband for 30 years of Maria Christina (DeVincenzo) Collins.

He was the loving son of Beverly M. (Taylor) Collins of Port Charlotte, Fla. and the late Harold F. Collins. Raised in Warwick, Steve lived in West Roxbury, Mass. before moving to Cranston. Steve was a machine tool operator for the Department of the U.S. Army and also served in the U.S. Army during peacetime. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He was the father of George J. Collins of West Greenwich, Jennifer M. Collins of Dedham, Mass., Stephanie C. Clinton and her husband, Bert, of Pawtucket and Kristine N. Collins of San Diego, Calif.; loving grandfather of Steven, Brian and Patrick Clinton and the late Joshua A. Bonito; loving step-grandfather of Shayne Clinton; and dear brother of Russell Collins and Karen Lokker, both of Florida and the late David Collins.
