The blizzard put a crimp in many scheduled sporting events, but it didn’t deter the die-hard frostbite sailors at Edgewood Yacht Club. On Sunday the fleet was somewhat thinner than customary, yet as Justin Catanlano, seen here on a snowy dock leading to a chase boat said, “It was a beautiful day.” There were six boats on the course, which could have been seven if David Salon [pictured launching his boat] didn’t have a problem with a broken rudder pin.
