The Stroke Center at Kent Hospital will host a stroke support group for stroke survivors and caregivers Wednesday, Oct. 30 and Nov. 27 from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Trowbridge Building, located adjacent to Kent Hospital, in rooms 102/103. Each month a new guest speaker will be discussing concerns regarding stroke.
This month’s discussion will be lead by Susan Moore, RN, manager of the Kent Hospital Stroke Program. Kent pharmacists and the Pharm D students from the University of Rhode Island will be on hand to review all of your medications, so be sure to bring them along with you. All members of the community who have survived a stroke, are at risk of stroke or are caregivers for someone who has undergone a stroke are encouraged to attend.
For more information or questions contact the Kent Hospital Stroke Center at 737-7010 ext. 35510 or email SMoore@kentri.org.
