Strongest of them all

With an interest in engineering, Hendricken freshman Caleb George chose to test the strength of different bridge designs for his science fair project. The school fair, coordinated by teacher Jeremy Graney drew about 80 entries that was narrowed down to about 40 projects that were graded Thursday with the best 16 being selected for entry in the state science fair to be held March 17 at the Knight Campus of CCRI. In addition to George, the projects of Ryan Caldwell, Trevor Davidson, Walter Fitzhugh, Patrick Flanagan, Paul Hong, John Joy, Chris Leonard, Daniel Kim, Tim Madsen, David Neary, Eric Pfeiffer, Michael Potter, Kevin Sutyla, Ryan Torrealday and Anthony Zainyeh were selected. George found of the various bridge designs, the arch was the strongest.
