Sherman School students surprised themselves during reading week by collectively reading 53,525 pages. The school’s reading specialist, Lauren Pellegrino (pictured with sign), had challenged them to read 35,000 pages. For having exceeded their goal, teachers staged a show for the kids and the studends responded with a “thumbs up” for the performance.
