Susan Mary (Nadeau) Costello, 68, passed away suddenly, on August 30. She was the wife of the late John V. Costello of Mansfield, Massachusetts and the late Joseph Morris of Warwick.

She was the daughter of the late Charles H and Eleanor A. Nadeau. Susan grew up in Warwick, and graduated from Pilgrim High School in 1964, she received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Early Childhood Education for the University of Rhode Island. Susan was very active in her church, St. John the Evangelist. She taught preparation classes for children making their first Holy Communion for many years. Father Marc Tremblay was a special friend of hers and offered her love and guidance. John and Susan started a scholarship program at North Shore Community College and were very involved and supported the school. She also donated to many charities that were close to her heart. Susan and John traveled extensively and especially enjoyed going to Ireland to visit John’s many cousins and to be surrounded by everything Irish.

Susan left behind a brother, Richard Nadeau and his wife, Rita. She was an Aunt to Jeffery, Scott and Randy Ahrendt; she had two great nieces and three great nephews. She was also an Aunt to the late David and Gerald Costello.
