Suspect sought in Santander Bank robbery

The Warwick Police responded to a bank robbery at the Santander Bank, 1927 Post Road, at 12:27 p.m. on Aug. 1.

Police said the suspect entered the bank alone, around 12:25 and demanded money from one teller. Two minutes later, the suspect fled on foot north on Post Road. He is described as an unshaven white male (see photo) in his 20s, between 5’10” and 6’2”, slender build, wearing a blue New England Patriots hat, a long sleeve New England Patriots T- Shirt, possibly gray in color, with a “Flying Elvis” logo, camouflage shorts and black and white sneakers. No weapon was shown or mentioned.

Any person with information related to the robbery is asked to contact the Warwick detectives at 468-4233, or Sgt. Eric Falcofsky at 468-4254. The FBI and the Rhode Island Airport Police assisted the Warwick Police.
