Cranston Police are working to identify a man who used stolen credit and debit cards at several local establishments.

According to police, a wallet was stolen from a parked vehicle on Tulip Drive in Cranston on Sept. 16. Subsequently, the victim’s cards were used at the Stadium Pub on Park Avenue, the 7-Eleven location on Reservoir Avenue, the International House of Pancakes on Pleasant Valley Parkway in Providence and the Cumberland Farms on Main Street in West Warwick.

An image of the suspect taken from surveillance video at the IHOP shows a man wearing a white and blue horizontal striped shirt. He was accompanied by a woman wearing glasses and dark, shoulder-length hair, police said, and both appeared to be looking into other vehicles before entering the restaurant. They were in a white vehicle that appeared similar to a Nissan Altima or Maxima, police said.

Anyone with information regarding the identity or location of the suspect is asked to contact Cranston Police at 942-2211, ext. 5140. Detective Sgt. Michael Gates is investigating.
