(Aging hero Neeson

returns)

If you like action movies and aging action heroes, the third in this outrageous series is bound to keep you interested.

Liam Neeson returns as retired operative Bryan Mills, this time to find the murderer of his ex-wife and prevent any harm to their daughter (Maggie Grace). And we know from the start that he didn’t do it.

For us, it is fun watching old guys tear up the territory, narrowly escaping both the police and the bad guys, surviving car crashes and dozens of bad guys shooting automatic weapons.

This one has a couple of twists to it, with plenty of good guys and bad guys, plus a detective (Forrest Whitaker) who believes in Mills’ innocence but has to stop him before he destroys everything in his path. We assume that all the vehicles destroyed, plus a liquor store and anything else that gets in the way, have good insurance policies.

His ex-wife’s new husband and a gang of nasty Russian mobsters are involved, forcing Mills to use his bag of tricks to get to the bottom of the murder, clear his name and save his daughter.

We couldn’t find a rating, but because there is no sex and little profanity, we’re guessing that it has a PG-13 rating. Only about 100 bad guys get killed.
