hose judging the Carline Cavanagh’s senior project had a chance to taste for themselves what she learned. The Pilgrim senior, who plans to attend Johnson & Wales, picked professional baking as her project. Judging of projects at all three high schools was held Thursday. Cavanagh brought along freshly baked pie and cakes for the judges that were also enjoyed by Bonnie Morency-Lima, Jo Ann Savage and Pat Jacques at the school. At right, David Saran, also of Pilgrim, who is planning to attend URI, where he will major in accounting and minor in international business and economics, did his project on budgeting. To make it all the more real, he chose his mother for a model, using income and expenses to give her a plan. David said she did a good job of following her budget. (Warwick Beacon photos)
