Preventing falls
Team effort to heighten fall prevention awareness

Community representatives from the Pilgrim Senior Center, VNA of Care New England, Warwick Fire Department, Westbay Community Action and the YMCA of Greater Providence worked together to provide fall prevention awareness education, balance screenings and other health- and safety-related information at the Fall Prevention Awareness Event Sept. 21 at the Pilgrim Senior Center. Mayor Scott Avedisian was on hand to provide his support for this important safety issue.
