Teresa (Izbicki) Osowa, 86, of Warwick died April 14, 2013 at Kent Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late John Osowa, Sr.
Born in Providence on April 6, 1927 a daughter of the late Anthony and Helen (Socha) Izbicki. An accountant, she was employed by the State of Rhode Island, retiring in 1992.
Mrs. Osowa was the devoted mother of John Osowa and his wife, Joan H. Osowa of East Greenwich; cherished grandmother of Jill Suzanne Millard and her husband, Alexander of East Greenwich and David Ernest Osowa and his wife, Sarah of Warwick; and the loving great-grandmother of Abigail and William Millard and Campbell Osowa. She was the caring sister of Fred Izbicki and his wife, Julie of Warwick, Marge Tupper wife of the late Bob of Johnston, Geneva Wilcox and her husband, Charles of Warwick and the late George, Frank, Paul and Robert Izbicki, Josephine Kudlacik and Cecelia Scott. She was the sister-in-law of Ellie Izbicki of New Hampshire, Gertrude Izbicki of Greenville, Deborah Izbicki of Warwick, Horace Austin Scott of Cumberland and the late Edward Kudlacik.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Rd., Warwick, with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.
