Those British folks that brought you the hysterical Wallace and Gromet cartoons have come up with an amusing comedy about a group of inept pirates.
Hugh Grant lends his voice to the Pirate Captain, a poor bloke who has never won the Pirate of the Year trophy. He sells his rare dodo bird to the queen in exchange for treasure, which he tries to convince the judges he has pirated.
It's kind of silly, but good fun for the youngsters, with enough humor to please their parents. It's only an hour and a half long, doesn't drag, and has some colorful characters. Rated PG.
