The big one

The Hendricken wrestling team stayed perfect with a win over Coventry, which means the Hawks have held up their end of the bargain as they head into a highly-anticipated match-up with Cumberland on Wednesday. Both teams are unbeaten in dual meets. They'll square off at 7 p.m. in Cumberland.

The match has been labeled as a big one for a while, ever since the teams got off to quick starts. They've continued to roll since then, with Cumberland carrying a 13-0 record and the Hawks checking in at 12-0. Much like last year, when Warwick Vets and Cumberland met in a high-profile match, there should be a big crowd and an intense atmosphere.

While the dual-meet season has no bearing on the tournament, the winner of Wednesday's match should have the inside track at winning the regular season Division I title. Cumberland has won two titles in a row, while Hendricken hasn't won since the 2003-04 season.
