In place of fields, mounds of dirt and the outline of a road is taking shape as construction crews start the process of relocating Main Avenue at the south end of Green Airport’s 5-23 Runway. When finished, the loop in the road will allow for extension of the runway scheduled for completion by December 2017. Roadwork will not interrupt traffic flow on Main Avenue.
