With warm weather working to their advantage, construction crews have worked rapidly to rebuild Building C of the Westgate Condominium complex that was destroyed in a dramatic fire last March. Firefighter efforts to save the structure were hampered by low water pressure that was attributed to the complex’s booster pump system. The all-new building is on the footprint of the old building that was erected in the 1970s. Unlike its predecessor, the new building meets today’s fire codes with sprinklers and firewalls. Insurance is covering the cost of replacing the 34 condos. (Warwick Beacon photos)
