With its new gold leaf the weathervane atop City Hall is the shining crowning feature of $850,000 in renovations to building’s façade and clock tower. And also, if you look closely, the vane now also provides points north a south, which it lost some years ago. Scaffolding to the tower is in the process of being removed even on a day as cold as yesterday.
