Thomas F. Brooks, age 79, of Adams Street, Warwick, died on July 8, 2013 at home. He was the husband of Arlene M. (Corbeil) Brooks.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Friend and Theresa V. (Cassidy) Brooks, he lived in Warwick for 51 years. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Brooks was a manager in the Polishing Dept. at Speidel, Inc. in Providence for 35 years before his retirement.

Besides his wife, he is survived by six daughters: Charlene M. Platt (Steven) of Warwick, Patricia M. Lisi (Anthony) of Warwick, Marie D. Lucier (Joseph) of Warwick, Catherine M. Maine (Hank) of Cranston, Teresa M. Passarelli (Mark) of Warwick, and Susan M. Lynch (Thomas) of Cranston; a sister, Lillian Hoopis of Florida; eleven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. He was the brother of the late William Brooks, Robert Brooks, and Ethel Brooks; and the grandfather of the late Sarah Jean Maine.

His funeral will be held on Friday, July 12, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Paul Church, One St. Paul Place, Cranston. Visiting hours are Thursday 4-7 p.m. Burial with military honors will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
