Thomas F. Monahan, Jr., 90, of Church Ave, passed away on May 26, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Ianozzi) Monahan.
He was the son of the late Thomas F. and Margaret (Whalen) Monahan. Tom worked for many years at Leesona Corporation in Warwick, He was a World War II Army veteran.
He was the father of Thomas, John, Stephen, James, William and Robert Monahan and Linda Jezak, Barbara Olney and Susan Shea. Survived by nine grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Francis, William, John and James Monahan and Eileen Shaw. He also leaves his loyal companion, Tyson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave, Providence. Burial will be private. boyleandsonfuneralhome.com.
