Thomas Marino, 81, of North Fort Myers, FL, died December 6, surrounded by his children. He was formerly married to Josephine Marino and to the recently deceased Judith Marino.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Thomas (Sam) and Inez (Girelli) Marino. He was a graduate of LaSalle Academy and the University of RI. He is a United States Navy Veteran. He had a distinguished sales career in New England and the Midwest. Tom was a scratch golfer and an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his eight children: Thomas Marino, Theresa Morse, Loretta Sanford, Mark Marino, Annmarie Marino, Maryann Marino, Kathleen Greenwell and Patricia Marino; 19 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He was the father of the late Kenneth Marino; and brother of the late Richard Marino.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Friday from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home. A private burial will be held at a later date.
