Timothy L. Hornberger, 69, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen F. (Frigon) Hornberger.

Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, a son of the late Charles and Thelma (Dickerson) Hornberger, he had resided in East Greenwich for the past 30 years. Mr. Hornberger was a telecommunications engineer for over 30 years. He started his career with New England Telephone and retired from Verizon in 2001. A Vietnam veteran, he had served with the United States Air Force. He loved to play golf and work on his house and yard.

He leaves his daughter, Kelsey A. Chmielewski and her husband, Craig, of Warwick. He is also survived by three sisters: JoAnn Ellingson of Lake Lure, North Carolina, Jean Petley of Chelmsford, England and Jennifer Daniels of Naples, Florida. He was the brother of the late Charles Hornberger. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Rita Frigon.

A visitation will be held Thursday, April 2, 5-7 p.m. with a service at 7 p.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial will be private. Information and condolences, visit QuinnFuneralHome.com
