Traupman receives LongHorn Steakhouse People Developer Award

Posted

Lynn Traupman, managing partner of the LongHorn Steakhouse in Warwick, has been presented with the company People Developer Award. She is one of just seven managing partners selected this year from the more than 480 LongHorn Steakhouse restaurants in North America, making this a truly outstanding honor.

Presented annually, this award recognizes managing partners who have consistently demonstrated a passion for helping LongHorn managers and team members grow within the company, while serving as a mentor. In addition, honorees are recognized for embodying LongHorn’s core values, such as treating everyone with dignity and respect, setting clear expectations, as well as being committed to training and developing team members.

“Lynn is a valued leader and is truly deserving of the People Developer Award,” said Gary Brown, senior vice president for LongHorn Steakhouse. “This recognition is a result of her commitment to mentoring her team on a daily basis. A LongHorn veteran of more than 20 years, she has helped train and mentor multiple managers within our company.”

“It is an honor to receive the People Developer Award, and I owe this success to my restaurant team and the people I’ve had the pleasure of mentoring throughout my career at LongHorn,” said Traupman. “It is rewarding to see my team members succeed and grow. I have always believed that every person is valuable and has something great to add to the team.”

Visit Traupman and her team at the Warwick LongHorn Steakhouse at 400 Bald Hill Road.
