Trinity Rep announces kids auditions for ‘A Christmas Carol’

Trinity Repertory Company announces auditions for children 8-12 years of age for its upcoming production of “A Christmas Carol.” Auditions will take place Saturday, September 6, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Cardi’s Furniture, Route 1A, South Attleboro, Mass. This is an open call, and appointments will not be taken. Actors will be seen in groups of 10 every 10 minutes and will be asked to read from a side and sing a few bars of a holiday song of their choice. “A Christmas Carol” at Trinity Rep is presented by Cardi’s Furniture with supporting sponsor Amica Insurance. This year’s production is dedicated to Stephen Hamblett and his love for the story of “A Christmas Carol.”

The State Theater of Rhode Island, Trinity Repertory Company is now in its 51st season. This season marks the 47th year of Project Discovery, Trinity Rep’s pioneering educational outreach program. Last season, Trinity Rep’s educational programs reached over 16,000 Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut students through matinees as well as in-school residencies and workshops. Brown University/Trinity Rep offers professional training for actors and directors in a three-year MFA program.
