On Monday, July 30, Trinity Repertory Company was thrilled to host a sold-out evening of theater featuring the Tony-Award-winning actor Brian Dennehy and local Trinity Rep favorite Fred Sullivan Jr. The duo took to the stage to discuss and perform works from the canon of America's premier playwright Eugene O’Neill. Fresh from his sold-out run in O'Neill's “The Iceman Cometh” alongside Nathan Lane at Chicago's Goodman Theatre, Dennehy treated the sold-out crowd to an intimate performance of monologues and scenes from O'Neill's “Hughie” and “Long Day's Journey into Night.”
The event netted over $10,000 to benefit Trinity Rep’s Theater for Every Generation campaign, for which Dennehy serves on the honorary board. For more information on the Theater for Every Generation campaign or Trinity Rep, visit www.trinityrep.com.
