URI Athletics and the Ryan Center have announced a sponsorship agreement with Kent Hospital, the state’s second largest hospital.
“Kent Hospital is extremely pleased to partner with URI Athletics and the Ryan Center,” Jim Beardsworth, Kent Hospital director of marketing and public relations and URI alum ’95, said in a statement. “This is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting host of college athletics and entertaining events that draw crowds from across the region while having the opportunity to reach thousands with the important message that Kent Hospital is a tremendous resource for their health care needs.”
The one-year agreement grants Kent Hospital branding opportunities located in the Ryan Center, as well as advertising related to the Rams Radio Network and television coverage for URI Men’s Basketball. In addition, Kent Hospital will be given presentation rights to one men’s basketball game during the 2012-2013 season, to host a Kent Night at the Ryan Center. The financial terms of the agreement were not released.
