Ursula F. “Bobbi” (Lawton) Smith, 86, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2016 at her home. She was the wife of the late Albert K. Smith.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William J. G. Lawton, Sr. and Ursula F. (Costello) Lawton. Bobbi worked as an administrative secretary at Rhode Island Hospital for 25 years prior to retirement.

She leaves her siblings, James L. Lawton, of Warwick and M. Theresa “Terry” (Champoux) Dwyer; and several nieces and nephews. Ursula was the sister of the late William J. G. Lawton, Jr. (Ret. Chief of Scituate Police Dept.) and Eileen Coulombe.

Her funeral was held on Thursday, November 17, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 618 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick. Interment was in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
