The Warwick Veterans Memorial High School chapter of DECA will host a charitable marketplace and family fun day, Brace Up and Donate, on Sunday, Dec. 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the high school’s gymnasium.
The charge to enter the event is the donation of a charitable gift of $3. Proceeds will be split with 50 percent going to the DECA program and the other half being split among four charities: Adoption RI, Children’s Wishes, Crossroads RI and Hasbro Children’s Hospital. The family-friendly event will be split between two rooms, one with vendors selling items and the other with games and activities for children. According to Vets student and DECA member Jasper Duru, LITE Rock 105 is helping to sponsor the event and will be on-site, broadcasting live.
