Warwick’s soccer teams will get together on Saturday at 2 p.m. for the annual Warwick Vets fall soccer tournament.
The tourney is usually played in the preseason but this year’s event was postponed. The teams opted to still hold the event, though, and they’ll get together on Saturday. All proceeds from the tournament will go to the scholarship funds named in honor of Pilgrim soccer players Bella DiPalma and Elanna Zuller, who were killed in a car crash earlier this year. A donation of $5 will be asked for at the gate.
The participating teams are Pilgrim, Toll Gate, Vets and Coventry. They’ll match up for 30-minute games, with the winners of the first two games meeting in the championship.
