Viateur “Victor” Pichette

Viateur “Victor” Pichette, 95, died June 2, 2013. He was the husband of the late Irene L. (Viens) Pichette.

Born in St. Edward, Canada, a son of the late Ovide and Aurora (Adams) Pichette, he had been a resident of Warwick for over 60 years. Victor was a milkman with Hillside Farms for over 30 years and had owned his own milk business prior to his military service in World War II. He served with the United States Marine Corps in the Asiatic Pacific Theater and had fought at Peleliu and Okinawa.

He is survived by two sons, Kenneth R. Pichette and Dennis A. Pichette and his wife, Linda. He was the grandfather of Sheila, Kenneth and Richard and great grandfather of nine. He also leaves his sister, Maryann Rega and was the brother of the late Hector Pichette, Gedeon Pichette, Mathilda Bastien, Rose Chadwick, Courana Dumont, Laura Beland, Enola Savoie and Mary Jane Arpin.

Funeral private at the convenience of the family.
