Virginia "Ginny" Pelland, 66, died at RI Hospital Providence on June 30, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Providence, Virginia was the daughter of Helen Spires and the late Alvin Gosson. She was a resident of Cranston, RI, former resident of Simmons Village and Brook Manor where she had many friends. Besides raising and caring for her children, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years at Heritage Hills Nursing Home & independent home health care.

She was the wife of the late George O'Toole II & former wife of Joseph Pelland. Mother to George O’Toole III of Warwick, RI, Karen O'Toole of Kissimmee, Florida and Cheryl O'Toole of Cranston, RI. She was a grandmother to Samantha Kellogg of Kissimmee, F

loridaL, William Kellogg II of Cranston, RI and Jaidyn O'Toole of Cranston, RI; and a great-grandmother to William Kellogg III. She was a sister to Contantina Vermette of Warwick, RI, the late Nancy Oxx and Christine Vermette of Kissimmee, Florida. Virginia will be missed by her 11 nieces and nephews, 32 grandnieces and nephews and 14 great-grandnieces and nephews.

Friends and Family are invited to attend a Committal Service at 11a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in the Chapel Mausoleum at Highland Memorial Park, One Rhode Island Street, Johnston, RI.
