It’s that time of year again, the 2013 CVS Caremark Charity Classic Golf Tournament is coming up and Serve Rhode Island needs help running the Water & Ice Committee. The tournament will be held from Sunday, June 23 to Tuesday, June 25, at the Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington.  

For a fee of $60, volunteers receive a complete volunteer package (valued at over $145) that includes: One badge that allows grounds admission all days of the tournament (may be used during days or shifts that you are not working); one 3-day public parking pass; admission into the Volunteer Appreciation Party; two shirts with tournament logo; one hat or visor with tournament logo; and coupons redeemable for food and beverage. 

There are a total of four shifts during the event. Volunteers are required to work a minimum of two shifts.  

It is not necessary for you to play golf to be a volunteer. Knowledge of the game helps in some positions.
