Warwick Junior Hockey won the Southern New England Hockey Conference Mite Division championship this past weekend. In the semifinals on Saturday, Warwick beat SRI, 2-1, in an exciting match-up. Warwick was down 1-0, but it tied the game with just over a minute left of regulation play, after Warwick pulled its goalie. The game was decided in overtime by a Warwick goal. Warwick went on to face the Providence Bears, earning a 3-0 shutout to capture the title.
