The Warwick Junior Hockey Association is gearing up for its annual Thanksgiving Tournament, which begins this weekend at Thayer Arena.
The action begins bright and early Friday morning with a full slate of games at Thayer and the Warburton Rink. Warwick’s two squirt teams will both be in action in the early session, with the blue team going at 9 a.m. against Hetland and the red squad taking on Woonsocket. At 9:05 in Warburton, Warwick’s peewees will take on Hetland.
At 11:30 a.m., Thayer will stage the Mite Jamboree. The blue squirts will play at 1:30 in Warburton, the reds at 4 p.m. in Thayer and the peewees at 5 in Thayer.
Games continue Saturday, along with the skills competition. On Sunday, semifinal games will be played in the morning before the squirt championship at 1 p.m. and the peewee title game at 2:20.
