Walls rising

A member of the American Steel and Pre-Cast Erectors is framed as a pre-cast wall panel is lifted into place yesterday for the new ambulatory surgical center (ASC) and medical office building at Kent Hospital. The ASC will include five operating rooms at 600 square feet each and three additional operating rooms at 400 square feet respectively. According to hospital spokesman James Beardsworth, the $30 million project is on budget and on schedule. He said by this time next year parts of the building would be in use.
