COCAINE & HEROIN

Randolph Reynoso, 25, of Warwick, and Richard Lora, 20, of Providence, were recently ordered detained following court appearances on conspiracy and drug trafficking charges. The two men were arrested on July 26, following an investigation by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and the Cranston Police Department Special Investigations Unit.

Reynoso was ordered detained in federal custody following an initial appearance in U.S. District Court on a criminal complaint charging him with one count of conspiracy to distribute heroin and crack cocaine, one count of distribution of crack cocaine and five counts of distribution of crack cocaine and heroin. At the time of his arrest, Reynoso was on federal pre-trial release on charges of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and heroin.

Lora was ordered detained in state custody following his arraignment in Providence District Court on six counts of delivery of crack cocaine, five counts of delivery of heroin, one count of conspiracy and one count of operating on a suspended license. The state charges were brought by the Cranston Police Department.

Reynoso and Lora’s arrests were announced by United States Attorney Peter F. Neronha; Harold H. Shaw, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Boston Division; and Cranston Police Chief Michael J. Winquist.

According to court documents, an investigation by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and the Cranston Police Department Special Investigations Unit into Reynoso and Lora’s alleged drug trafficking activities included at least six alleged purchases of varying amounts of crack cocaine and/or heroin. The alleged transactions, which occurred between June 24, 2016 and July 26, 2016, were electronically monitored by law enforcement.

Reynoso’s case in U.S. District Court is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys William J. Ferland and Richard W. Rose.

The FBI’s Safe Streets Violent Gang Task Force consists of agents and law enforcement officers from the FBI, R.I. State Police, Providence, Cranston, Woonsocket, and Central Falls Police Departments and the R.I. Department of Corrections. KEYED

On July 17 at 10:17 a.m., Officer Thomas Greene responded to Warwick Avenue for a report of vandalism.

Upon arrival, Greene met with the reporting party, who said she was loading her vehicle that morning when she noticed the vehicle, which belonged to her boyfriend, had been keyed.

The woman said she had returned home at approximately 11 p.m. on July 16 and there was no damage to the vehicle at that time. She said she doesn’t have any suspects in mind of who may have done the damage, but she did wish to file a complaint.

The vehicle was a blue 2005 Honda Odyssey bearing R.I. registration. Greene said the damage consisted of a scratch along the hood, the driver side fender, the front driver side door, the driver side rear door, and the driver side rear quarter. It should also be noted there were key marks on the passenger side front door, the passenger side rear door, and the passenger side rear quarter. The scratches look to be about 8 feet in length on each side. SHOPLIFTING

On July 18 at 1:45 p.m., Officer James Vible responded to J. C. Penney, 400 Bald Hill Road, for a report of a female, later identified as Adrienne E. Husband, 21, of 8 Prospect Square, Hopkinton, who was being detained by loss prevention due to shoplifting.

Vible met with a loss prevention officer, who advised he and other loss prevention officers monitored Husband’s activity, where they observed her secure several makeup items worth a total of $187, and with the items concealed on her person, she exited the store, passing all points of purchase without paying for any of the makeup items.

Husband was arrested for shoplifting and transported to Warwick police headquarters for processing. She was released on a summons to appear in Third District Court for one count of shoplifting. Husband was also no trespassed from Warwick Mall. Store security footage of the event was entered into evidence. LARCENY

On July 19 at 1:32 p.m., Officer Manuel Pacheco was dispatched to Torrington Drive for a report of a larceny from a motor vehicle.

Upon arrival, Pacheco met with the reporting party, who said earlier that morning around 11:30, she went out to her vehicle, a blue Toyota Rav4 bearing R.I. registration, and discovered the center armrest was open. Upon further examination, she discovered items scattered along the interior and noticed her notary seal, valued at $70, was missing. Other smaller items, including a pair of gloves, a small flashlight, and coupons, were missing as well.

The woman said she last saw her vehicle undisturbed on June 18 around 6:30 p.m., at which time she believed she had locked it. However, Pacheco said there were no signs of any damage or force used to enter the vehicle. No suspects.
