Savage and Savage’s Anthony Blade pitched 4.2 innings, yielding one run on two hits while striking out six. Dan Riccio came on in relief to pitch 1.1 innings, giving up no hits while striking out two. Savage and Savage had several players that contributed to scoring 13 runs. Erick Tamboe went 3-for-3, with a single, double and a home run, which produced two RBI. Thane Denton went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and one RBI. Stephen Souilliere produced two doubles, which resulted in two RBI and Bryan Denton added a solo home run.

Colin Lemieux had two hits on the night, one of which plated Leo’s lone run. Aiden Sullivan also had a hit for Leo’s Tire.

In a closely contested game, Brennan’s hung on to defeat Donelan’s, 7-6.  

Brennan’s Braces scored all seven of their runs in the fourth inning. Key contributors to the seven-run inning were Dom Brazeau, who laced a single, Kenny Rix, who produced a single and two RBI, Noah Sullivan, who registered a triple and two RBI, DJ Sollitto, who also hit a triple to drive in a run and Jeriel Garcia, who walked and scored.   

Donelan’s scored six runs behind the strong hitting of Cullen McGrew, Sean Gallagher and Harry Grimes, who all had two hits each. Dylan Gallagher, Jimmy Salisbury and Nick Lynch also had hits to help plate six runs for the home team.

The final score would be decided in the bottom of the sixth. Donelan’s had the tying and winning runs on base when Joey Izzi struck out the final batter of the game to preserve the win for Brennan’s.

In game two of a doubleheader, Brennan’s wasted no time by jumping out to an early lead and scored often, as they tallied 16 hits on the game. Aaron Narcavage and Kenny Rix both had three hits on the night, Chase Pariseau and Dom Brazeau both had two hits each, one of which was a double, and Joey Izzi, DJ Sollitto and Jeriel Garcia all had hits as well. Chris Scalzo reached base on three walks.

Defensively, Brennan’s received strong pitching performances from Kenny Rix, Chase Pariseau and Bobby Court, who combined to pitch a one-hit shutout. Rix struck out six of the first seven batters to start the game. Matt Lynch had Donelan’s lone hit in game two.

Jared Reminder’s dominant pitching performance secured a win for Degiulio on this night. Reminder pitched a complete game, tallying 17 strikeouts while giving up only two runs. Reminder was also responsible for two of his team’s five hits on the night. Jacob Longton, Max Turner and Aiden Comer also contributed hits in the victory. Dylan Bourret contributed two walks.

For Leo’s, Colin Lemieux pitched 4.1 innings of solid baseball, while striking out 10 batters. Lemieux was responsible for both of Leo’s runs as he contributed two solo home runs on the night. 

Savage and Savage 9,

Savage and Savage defeated Donelan’s Senators, 9-1, behind the strong hitting of Dan Ricci, who had two hits, a single and a double. Riccio drove in three runs and scored once. Greg Fontaine had three hits on two singles and one double that produced two RBI. 

Thomas D’Andrea pitched three strong innings, striking out five, giving up three hits and one run.

Dylan Gallagher drove in Jalen Dennis with Donelan’s lone run. Gallagher, Dennis and Mason Link each had hits in the game.

Noah Sullivan pitched 5.1 innings of two-run baseball, striking out six in a strong performance for Brennan’s. Brennan’s offense was generated by Dom Brazeau, who had two doubles on the night. Joey Izzi, who had two hits, three RBI and two runs scored and Chase Pariseau, who had a single, two walks and two runs also helped to lead Brennan’s offensive surge. Bobby Court added a double as well. 

Nick Follett had two hits for Coastway. Mike Borges, Dante Wilding and Connor Hausman also contributed to the Coastway runs as each had base hits.

Coastway    8,

Dante Wilding’s walkoff home run in the bottom of the sixth provided Coastway CU with a victory over Leo’s Tire. Leo’s and Coastway were locked in a 5-5 game going into the fifth inning. Leo’s Tire took a 7-5 lead in the fifth by scoring two runs. Coastway would cut Leo’s lead to one by adding a run in the bottom of the fifth. Coastway would then hold Leo’s scoreless in the top of the sixth, which set up Wilding’s dramatic two-run walk off home run.

Coastway’s Mike Borges and Wilding supplied much of the offense by combining for seven hits and five RBI.  

Leo’s Vito Vinciquerra led his team with two hits and three RBI. Gary Dombeck added a hit, 2 RBI and a run scored and Colin Lemieux had one hit and two walks on the night.  

Donelan’s        22,

Donelan’s bats blasted their way to their first victory. Donelan’s Senators earned their first victory of the season over Degiulio Insurance behind the strong hitting of Dylan Gallagher, who had four hits and four RBI on the night. Ethan Foster had three hits and several RBI and Sean Gallagher blasted a home run for one of his two hits on the night. Also having multiple-hit games and RBI for Donelan’s were John Procacinni and Jalen Dennis. Mason Link reached base three times and scored three times.   

Brennan’s Braces    14,                      

Savage and Savage 9

In a game that saw several lead changes throughout, Brennan’s prevailed with a hard-fought 14-9 victory. Savage and Savage scored first, plating four runs in the first inning. Brennan’s would chip away at that lead over the next couple of innings before grabbing a 5-4 lead in the fifth inning. In the bottom of the fifth, Savage and Savage responded with two runs of their own to take a 6-5 lead with one inning to go. Brennan’s would plate four runs in the top of the sixth inning. Brendan Rooney hit a bases loaded single that started the Brennan’s rally. Savage and Savage, trailing by three in the bottom of the sixth, responded with three runs of their own, to tie the score at nine and force extra innings. A Bobby Vale double and an Anthony Blade single were a big part of the rally. In the top of the seventh, Brennan’s scored five unanswered runs to seal the victory. A bases loaded single by Bobby Court proved to be all Brennan’s needed.  

Key contributors with multiple hits for Brennan’s offense were: Chase Pariseau, who had three hits, one of which was a double. Kenny Rix had two hits and two RBI. Aaron Narcavage and Bobby Court also had two hits each on the night. Chris Scalzo drew four walks and scored twice.

The Savage and Savage offense was provided by: Will Morisette, who had three hits, two runs and one RBI, Thane Denton, who had two hits, two runs and two RBI, Jack Hornstein, who had two hits, a double, triple and three RBI and

Tyler Cote, who had two hits and one RBI.
