Warwick downs Cranston, remains in third place
MADISON BALUTOWSKI

The Warwick girls’ hockey team continued its strong start to the season on Saturday night with a 4-1 victory over the Cranston co-op team.

The Lady Titans improved to 4-2 overall and are alone in third place in Division I-Emma, trailing only Mount St. Charles and La Salle. Cranston fell to 3-3-1 with the loss.

Warwick will look to make a big splash this weekend when it takes on 7-1 La Salle on Friday night at 6 p.m. at Thayer Arena. La Salle beat Warwick 5-0 in the first game of the season on Dec. 7.
