The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging James Adams 32, of 12 Midway Dr. in Warwick with one count of murder, three counts of first degree sexual assault, two counts of first degree robbery, two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, three counts of possession of a firearm while committing a crime of violence and one count of possession of a firearm by a person previously convicted of a crime of violence.

Prosecutors say Adams murdered Mary Grier in July of 2012. It is further alleged between June 24 and June 30 of 2012, Adams sexually assaulted and robbed two women and physically assaulted a third woman, using a firearm and a heavy metal object during the assaults. Cranston, Providence and Johnston Police conducted the investigation. Adams was sentenced to 11 years to serve for violating his probation from a 2005 conviction of first-degree sexual assault and is currently at the ACI. Adams will be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on Dec. 13.

That's great legal system of Rhode Island. He was to serve an 11 year sentence for a 2005 conviction and obviously was let out very early so he can commit more crimes including murder of a young lady. Way to go Rhode Island. Maybe he got out on good behavior. What is meant by good behavior since it was bad behavior that got him in jail in the 1st place.
