To the Editor:
As a lifelong resident of the Pawtuxet Village area, I know the great pride that residents take in the condition of Pawtuxet. Each year, there are neighborhood cleanups, Gaspee Days, summer concerts in the park, and many other examples of the way in which the pride of Pawtuxet Village stands out. I want to say a great big thank you to Mayor Avedisian, Councilman Colantuono and the Rhode Island Department of Transportation for the recent road repaving on Post Road.
I know that it requires a lot of coordination between the city and the state and I thank the mayor, councilman, and DOT Director Michael Lewis for their work.
Bill Plumb
Past President of the
Village Association
