The 2014 West Bay CROP Hunger Walk will be held Oct. 18 at 9 a.m. in Conimicut Village. Hundreds of participants and teams from around the state will walk a 3-mile course through the village and around the point to raise money for and awareness of those who go hungry in this country and around the world. Money raised will benefit both local and world organizations to end hunger.
To create a walking team, sign up as an individual walker or sponsor walkers/
teams, visit the Walk’s website at hunger.cwsglobal.
