West View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will offer a year-long series of informative lectures which will be offered to the community. These lectures will span subjects that are pertinent to our changing healthcare services, caring for our elderly loved ones, and understanding several disease processes. Each lecture will provide information on that subject, resources that are available, and handouts. Guest speakers will also be attending this series.
West View is proud to be able to offer these informative and educational lectures free of charge. Each lecture will be approximately one hour long. Lectures will be presented at 10 a.m. and repeated at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month.
Here is a listing of the lecture series for February and March: Feb. 11, How to navigate the hospital – the educated patient at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. and March 11 the Brown bag of drugs: Know what meds you are taking at 10 a.m. and at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Call 828-9000 to register.
