The Westbay Community Action’s Marketplace pantry will be participating in the Feinstein Annual $100,000 Giveaway to Fight Hunger food drive and fundraising program, starting on March 1.

Alan Shawn Feinstein’s Feinstein Foundation will add a proportional contribution to monetary and canned food donations received by the Westbay Marketplace during the months of March and April. The more donations collected, the more the Foundation will contribute.

In particular, the Marketplace is in need of chicken soup, corned beef hash, oatmeal, peanut butter, grape jelly and canned vegetables, although all donations are accepted. The pantry is also asking for donations of clean and reusable plastic grocery bags to be used by families at the Marketplace.
