What a century

Dorothy Hamilton, long active in senior services and community holiday food drives, expects a full house this Saturday and for good reason. She will be celebrating her 100th birthday at Sunnyview Nursing Home where she has been a resident for several years. She came from a big family of five sisters and two brothers. Dottie has three children: Ralph, who served as a Warwick councilman; Thomas and Beatrice; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Even at 100, Dottie is sure to be the life of the party this Saturday. She hasn’t lost her sense of humor and loves reminiscing, not to mention learning what’s new. (Warwick Beacon photo)
