Why he’s voting for McCaffrey

To the Editor:

In my opinion, Senator Michael Mccaffrey has greatly assisted and fought for those of us in Governor Francis Farms Phase II, thereby preventing the Warwick Sewer Authority from forcing residents to tie-in. This has saved substantial additional costs, especially for those who have lost their jobs and cannot find another, the elderly whose diminished income finds them struggling to keep their homes and the hundreds of residents who have lost all the equity in their houses.
In addition, Senator McCaffrey has been a decent and respected elected official who will continue to represent Warwick citizens, accordingly.
I urge voters in District 29 to re-elect him on Tuesday, Sept. 11.

Eugene Nadeau
Warwick

P.S. All of us in Phase II still have to pay the $8,000 average cost for that sewer pipe in the street.

A vote for Mr. McCaffrey is a vote for Paiva-Weed.

    He is a puppet.

Warwick is MUCH LARGER than Governor Francis Farms...what has he done for the rest of Warwick?

Correct me if I’m wrong but Mr. Nadeau weren’t you the same grumpy old coot that said if you were elected to the School Board that you would straightening out that mess? How’s that working out for you? You were elected and the School System is still sucking up the tax dollar and is even worse than it was before. So I guess what you’re saying is the people won’t lose their homes paying more money to the school system but will lose their homes if they have sewers? Perhaps you should worry about fixing the things you were elected you to do and leave the car tax, sewers, property tax issues to people that know what they’re doing. And for Christ sake Gene no more stories about floating away on an egg carton watching the fish holding their nose’s in some flood back in the 20’s. “by the way it is physically impossible for a fish to do so” Thanks
