The 2nd Annual Wild Bill 5K to Stomp Out ALS will be held Saturday, Oct. 26 in Warwick. Held in memory of Bill Hopkins, who passed away last year, proceeds will benefit the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Association of Rhode Island.
The 5K route is a flat and fast loop through the Governor Francis Farms neighborhood, starting from John Brown Francis Elementary School, 325 Miantonomo Drive, at 10 a.m. The race will be timed by FIRM Racing, and both runners and walkers may pre-register online at www.racesonline.com. The entry fee for pre-registration is $20 per person, or $30 for race day registration, and includes a runner’s tech shirt.
