The William Hall Library is pleased to announce its 2015 Fall Concert Series. Concerts will take place in the library auditorium on Saturdays beginning Oct. 24.

Supported by the generosity of Dave and the late Judy Pelkey, the Fall Concert Series is free and open to the public.

Performers will include The Tropical Gems; Michael Hession and Caleb Seibert; and The Baker Brothers.

The Tropical Gems will perform the first concert of the series on Oct. 24. With a line-up of songs from the jazz, calypso, and reggae genres, the Gems combine new arrangements of old classics with original compositions.

The Tropical Gems is comprised of musicians Jason Roseman, Justin Caraher, Paul Caraher, Liam Sullivan, and Scott Lyman.

Michael Hession and Caleb Seibert will perform a collection of classical guitar music spanning the ages during the second performance of the series. Their concert will include pieces from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic eras with pieces by Bach, Mozart, Granadus and more. Hession and Seibert will perform on Nov. 7.

The Baker Brothers’ performance will conclude the concert series on Nov. 21. A jazz quartet consisting of a guitarist, pianist, upright bassist and drummer, the Baker Brothers’ performance will include a tribute to jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery.

All performances will begin at 2 p.m. and end at 3 p.m.

The William Hall Library is handicapped accessible and located at 1825 Broad St. in Cranston.
