Winman Jr. High School will host orientation night for all incoming 7th grade students Monday, August 29 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Students will receive their schedules, locker assignments and directions on how to open lockers. This is an opportunity for parents and their child to take a look at their schedule and locations of the rooms in advance and to ask any questions.
The PTO will also be accepting new memberships on this evening.
Finally, the school will be open for informal student-led tours on Friday, August 26 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Winman is opening and we still have no teachers contract and no attempt on the behalf of the School Committee to get one.
The teachers are willing to negotiate. Why does the SC refuse?
I don't understand it. It brings no value to not negotiate. In the Court Of Public Opinion, the teachers win.
Make the call SC. Make the call!
