A genealogical workshop with instruction on how to research family history will be held Wednesday, May 15 at 7 p.m. at the Warwick Library.
Andrew Boisvert from the Rhode Island Genealogical Society will show how to use town hall and land records, immigration and census reports, ship records, and more to trace family heritage.
She will demonstrate how to use family group sheets to collect information and how to organize family trees. Learn about the importance of citing your sources, and take home a packet of research forms and a list of good genealogical websites.
Andrew Boisvert is the Archivist/Library Manager at Old Colony Historical Society in Taunton, Mass.
