John Brown Francis second graders staged a Thanksgiving show for friends and family last night that had a turkey theme. The students recited from memory verses about wise birds that avoid the dinner table to overeating and individually saying what they are thankful for. Here, Nathan Banaczuk rubs his tummy in anticipation of the Thanksgiving meal; Madison Carvalho demonstrates she’s prepared to eat just a bit more and teachers Sandra Noonan and Elena Habershaw prompt the kids in their performance.
